Born on November 03, 1973 in Flint, Michigan.
Graduated from Lapeer West High School, 1991.
Studied Wildlife Management in Kenya.
Worked summers for the Michigan Department of Natural Resources.
Trained lions and tigers on the weekends.
Graduated from the University of Michigan with a BA in Biology, 1996.
Wanted to save the world and win the Nobel Peace Prize.
Moved to Atlanta, GA in 1996 and sold Fords.
Worked in a medical lab to justify my degree.
Career in IT began at a multimedia firm that no longer exists.
Was laid off and moved to Spain in 2000.
Worked for Alcatel in Madrid for one year before getting laid off.
Telefonica picked me up and sent me to Rome for two weeks and then to Munich for three months to work.
Three years living in Europe changed my life.
Moved to New York City in 2003.
Returned to Kenya in 2004, with a side trip to Egypt, as part of a long vacation.
Worked for the best interactive design agency in the world, Behavior.
Today I work for The New York Times, a Technical Project Manager for the Travel section and T Magazine.
In 2007 I started practicing Buddhism.
Promoted to Design Manager of NYTimes.com in May 2008.
